The "What did you do to your Ranger today" thread

It was. 95 degrees outside and I was walking the yards for 3 hours before I found one with 4.10s and limited slip.
Yeah sorry it was a long day yesterday and my brain was fried lol.

I actually had no problems with the antenna. It's a great antenna. I just wanted to change because having the stainless steel post up there scares me. That's why it came off, the branch hit the post and took it off. Ok I probably shouldn't use a Trucker Ant on a magnet mount, but it's what I had. But yeah it's an excellent antenna.
Was just wondering what was wrong, I like the Wilson.
I was thinking on a Trucker 200 with short lower shaft but hard mounted to the back rack.
Maybe try a heavy duty spring too, but will have to watch the SWR.

Well, I got bored again the other day - so after finding out that you can swap the 2004-2006 style steering wheel onto my 2003, I figured why not. It was something I haven't done yet! :D
So, I just received a brand new OEM leather Ranger steering wheel from my Ford dealer - complete with the new style cruise buttons.
I absolutely despised those damn cruise 'pods' on my 2003 wheel.

In time sir, Nothing really has changed other than I've moved my cb antenna to the back and put a fuel tank skid plate on. But some pretty big projects are on the way. If it will cool off I can work on them faster but working in a 110 degree garage is not happening right now.

Oh come on now - No such thing!
But yeah, the list of remaining available mod's is getting rather 'empty' these days (short of engine swap & SAS).
This was something new I just found out would work, so I figured why not - and went for it!

Mines a Trucker SW-2000. Which means shorter whip, longer post. I do like the antenna, just didn't really suit my needs. Plus I don't really use my CB for much, so if I can keep from breaking an expensive antenna I will.

SOLD IT!!! Part of the deal was the buyer had to wait until the Focus ST arrives to take posession. He got a smokin' deal on a great truck that he absolutely is in love with, so everyone's happy. It WILL be a sad day when she finally goes, but the guy is local, so I'll be seeing her a lot.

Picked up my axle from S.F.F. Customs on Friday. Josh did a great job welding on the leaf spring flanges, shock mounts and welding the tubes. Came home and tore my truck apart. Got the explorer axle all buttoned up today with all new brake hardware. Still need to do a little work on the parking brake cable. I had to remove the lift blocks for now as the u bolts I took off the Explorer were to short and I wasn't thinking before doing the swap. So for a few weeks my truck will have to ride with the front 2 1/2 inches taller than the rear.

Custom Console
My arm rest cracked and broke(plastic garbage!) I decided that I wanted to replace the console as well. I never did like the fact that the cup holder was shallow and couldn't properly hold a drink. Plus if I had a large soda, my stick shift would hit it in 2nd and 4th gear. So I built my own with a supersized cup holder. The only way my drink will spill now is if my truck flips. I did find an armrest off an older explorer(with metal parts!) It fit perfectly.
