The "What did you do to your Ranger today" thread

Haven't posted in here for a while, but I haven't really done much with her lately. Finally got my high lift mounted in the bed, also I finally removed the spare tire, finally mounted my battery as well no more bouncing battery, got the clearance lights installed after almost a year of having them off.
Wheeled her hard these last 2 months and my rear end finally went out. Must of broke the clutches in the limited slip as only one wheel spins now, also looks like my passenger wheel seal or wheel cylinder is leaking, haven't really felt like checking on it yet. So looks like an explorer axle and a locker is going to be going in her soon. So yeah I haven't really been driving her much these last couple weeks because of that.

Well since it's paid off now I can start my hunt for a explorer 8.8" rear end with 4.10 locked rear end. Also want to add 3" lift spindles, and lift shackles for it. 33" tires also. I have alot of work ahead of me...

If you have one of those drop-in bed liners, take it out a few times a year to wash and clean all the debris and dirt that builds up under them, otherwise its a rust trap.
But really, THIS is the only way to go:

I've used the "drop in" style on all my trucks. Never had any problems with them. I tried to use the spray in one on a chevy I had. Didn't even last a couple months and it was starting to crack. Think it was a Line X or Spray X one of those brand names that I paid a couple hundred dollars to get put on. Was not impressed at all.
I see your a member of this forum also. LOL

Preparation is key with the DIY bedliners...if u dont prep right and get rid of the glossy clear coat u will have issues...and u have to go thick..many layers. They say 1 gallon is enuff to do a 6ft bed...yeah it is but only two coats and thats not thick enuff.
Yeah im on all the ranger forums....and lots of motorcycle and atv forums too.
