They're just plug and play bulbs. I got 10 and had some extras and offered. Just go on eBay and look for visor led, they'll pop up

Loaded it full of lattice and ivy. Too big to lift so I used the hoist and drove under!

Cranked the torsion bars up about an inch and a half and got my Pro Comps and tires put on. 31s for now until after winter when I get the body lift put on. Can't believe how much it's changed since July.

Changed my oil and put in Mobil 1 full synthetic. Never used full synthetic before, so I hope it's worth it.

I did Mobile 1 40k ago, when I first got the truck.
First thing I noticed was the engine appeared to spin over easier and start easier.
Didn't notice any more mpg's but really did expect any.

I think I do more frequent oil changes than needed but I rather do too many than too few.

2003 ranger question

Hello everyone, i hope im in the right section but i have a question. I have a 2003 ford ranger & the other day i went to turn it on it wouldnt start. you see i put keys in ignition & it does rev up like its gonna start but it doesnt. The lights & stereo still works but truck will not start. Does anyone know what that could possibly be? If so please let me know cuz i'd hate to spend anymore money to have it towed to shop & have them charge me. If its anything that i can do myself please let me know cuz i can basically buy the part offline and look up on how to fix but i need to know what it is first. Thank you!

You're not in the right section but it could be anything. alternator, ignition, battery, fuel pump. Go start a thread in the general disscusion part. This is thread is like ranger Twitter.

Not today but in the last week, got to installing 2 LED worklights on my rear bumper.
These suckers are bright! They light up when I put the truck in reverse, and are also controlled via a switch.

Do you have a wiring diagram on how you did that to a switch? I'd like to do something similar.

Here man! Just drew up a wiring diagram

Im a relay type of guy, so I throw a relay on all circuits. If you are going to wire to halogen lamps, the relay is mandatory. For LEDs, you can omit.

The 2 triangles at the bottom are diodes, these allow current flow in 1 direction, and prevent it in the other. They are in the system to allow the lights to turn on with the reverse light, and with the switch, but the prevent the reverse lights from light up when using the switch.

If anything, feel free to ask.

Interesting way to do it, only downside is your powering your lights off the reverse light. You could remove the diodes and run to the NC pin on the relay. This will prevent back flow and draw power from your 12v source.

Like you said works for low draw leds but relays are safer and provide "cleaner" power to the lights

The lights are powered off either the reverse lamps, when I put the truck in reverse, or off of the switch that is in cab, The relay is only for the in cab switch.

My same system used to be for 5x 100w halogen lights
