Sure you got the diff right? My x3 always got it wrong, even if it's set right to the diff you know you have, try another setting, mine suddenly great at all speeds.

In the form for the tune I put that it had factory 3.73s. I guess I could manually put that in to make sure it's correct.
I played with the tires again today, I went down in revs and it brought it closer. When I got home I went down another 5 revs pre mils. Hopefully I'm still closer.
I'll also throw in the diff next time just to make sure they tuner didn't leave some other setting in there.

As i said, mine was off, despite having the tune set it - i played with the revs/miles but it was never accurate at all speeds and was certainly not the right way/solution for the issue.
I can't remember now if my tune had either, the wrong ratio in it, the right ratio, but needed a 'wrong' ratio to read right, or defaulted to something equally as stupid.
Either way, i set either my diff again correctly, or told it that there was a different diff in there, and it went perfectly, annoying 'bug' but it worked.

I finally checked my air pressure. Ds front 17, ps front 30, ds rear 32, ps rear 33. I bumped them all 35. I'm coming the truck up today, so I'll refill it tomorrow and check mileage.

I guess you could do that. If you wanted to be accurate about it and get it right the first time without guessing. But who would want to do that?
It was for my Mustang i used to have, was a few years ago now, but yes it was an email tune.
If you're trying diff options, go ahead and reset everything else back to the tune settings/default first.

After driving down the street the speedo was actually reading a few mph lower than it should so I readjusted the tire revs to where it should be. Haven't driven it since then but I think I'll be golden now.
Weird how the axle ratio changed all that, especially since it was supposed to be tuned for 3.73 already.

I'd like it be as close as possible. For speedo purposes and for odometer mileage. I don't want to rack up more miles that I'm actually driving causing my Ranger to list higher mileage if ever I get ride of it.

still guessing. Rim width, vehicle weight, air pressure all effect that.
Nooo! My Ranger came from Canada. Luckily they sprayed that tar crap all over the underside so most of it is rust free. It does have some rust in certain areas though.
I've never lived in snow and I've only been in it a few times during my travels. It looks pretty but that's where my appreciation for it ends. I hate the cold! ! ! !

Its been i PA all its life... but it was taken care of and only has a little rust in certain area's. I hear a good way to get the salt out from under is get a lawn sprinkler and pull it under the car slowly and will spray a lot of that junk off.....
In Northern Ohio up here been getting steadily annoying bit of snow, just enough to slush the roads and have to snap the wipers to knock off the ice. Didn't do to bad for a days driving, just no fast acceleration, due to slippage, but found putting a heavy duty hydaulic jack over each wheel helps a lot and this way I don't have sand in the bed if the tubes break.
