Drove it for the first time in a month.
While I was out the wife thought she would be nice and took it to ford for the recall and they gave her a sheet of things that need to be done... She read me the sheet, I had to laugh:
1. Fuel system flush and filter
2. battery service ( guess its dirty from sitting , i found nada)
3. Transmission flush
4. Rear diff fluid change
5. Fuel Induction service (? whats this fancy name for)
Wife told them thats nice, just put it on the sheet and I will look at it when I get back...
Wtf ever happened to 100k service ?
They did their check list and checked off the shocks / struts and other suspension components as fine, wonder what they looked at, the shocks are toast, (new ones due last friday, still not here)
Radiator / heater hoses for leaks or damage, guess they didn't look at the elbow I had to construct from 5/8 heater hose and stainless 90 deg tubing.
Women get so screwed at the dealership... I felt so sorry for the wife, trying to do a nice thing and they try and take her to the bank....

Finally got around to changing my pads and rotors,,, way over due, rotors were warped and the pads were wore super unevenly. The truck would "pulse" stop haha. And i tore apart a bit of the interior to try to find a horribly annoying creak that was after developing. I could not figure out what it was so i just torqued everything down and packed every space full of sponge foam and put it all back together and its gone! thank God, It was starting to make me not want to drive it was that annoying.

I love winter blades. They lift a little around 60 MPH but are worth it in the snow. I used to use them to play in the mud in my F150.
