the NAPA made in the good ole USA was know where near being right
go figure, well at least the made in the USA Hub Assm. Fit with no problems
I will let you know when I breack the Chinese A-arm :) and then we will

Did the plasma cutter, grinder and 37" tire mock up mod (will sit another 4" on top of where it is now)... No biggie lol

 

installed 1 brake caliper on the front then started raining so the tools away and said #### it. tomorrow I'll put the other side on and go from there hopefully get the other one installed tomorrow

 

Not exactly today, but this weekends modding activities included leveling the front out with a torsion bar crank, and finishing the interior illumination switch over. Currently have an Exploder blue HVAC and cluster with blue LEDs, and blue LED in the 4WD & headlight switchs. Shooting for BL next week.

 

I did plugs, wires, oil change (with a new filter), trans fluid flush and fill (metal shavings...sniffle...), new wiper blades, wiper fluid, air filter, vacuumed it, detailed it

and ball joints tomorrow WHOO HOO!

 

Sanded the bed rails down, knocked off all the rust and flaking spots. Primed, sanded, primed, sanded.... Painted, sanded, painted... Going to clear coat the next warm day we get -- which might not be until next year.

 

Used the winch to unload a bunch of scrap wood out of a ram and destroyed the dodge's tailgate in the process.

 

put the trailer on and drove to motocross track and some trails in woods, was tons of fun!

 

Bought a third brake light with cargo lights at a jy last saturday, and wired it last sunday. It looks really cool.

 

New tires & bath. 'Bout due for an oil change...

 

Gave it a bath today and vacumed it. The system is getting installed tomorrow.

Double Din screen with navigation, Kicker components with a kenwood amp, one 15 inch kicker L7 with a 2000 watt Hypnotic amp. Installing HIDs and getting the LED mod for the dashboard done. Should be a good day : )

 

well i was coming home from christmas shopping and had the music up and load, cop comes next to me at a light and goes, "i love that song man"
also just sprayed some black paint in rear wheel well cus it was all brown rusty looking. looks way better, now just have to paint my drum brakes yellow

 

Changed the fuel filter. There was some serious gunk in that thing. Mileage should be better now and it seems to be hesitating less.

 

Put new windshield wipers on

 

Not today but on Sunday I tinted the tail lights. No pics yet.

 

a used tire. woke up christmas morning to find the truck sitting at a wierd angle, l.r. tire was flat, a little while later noticed the neighbor across fom me had 2 flats on their car and the r.r. tire flat on their van. found knife marks on further investigation. a while later a sheriff deputy was through and took statements. gues about 50 tires in all were cut, very random. local tire shop sold me a good used casing, mounted and balanced for $25.00 not as good as the tire i lost but better than the undersized 16 y/o spare that was in the bed. they didnt touch my wifes S10 blazer, which has horrible tires that need replaced. im still pissed about it all. -->Vandals strike trailer park on Christmas Eve | marionstar.com | The Marion Star it was more than 5 of us, only 5 of us were home, theres still about 6 vehicles sitting around where people are still out of town and dont know they have a surprize to come home to. i should have saved my pierced tire and hung it on one of the "nieborhood watch" signs, or wrote on it "you didnt watch this" and leave it outside the office door up front at the trailer park.

 

well i decided to do the blinker mod on my 89 ... t was super easy and i like it :)

 

Checked all my fluid levels and radiator was about 1 gallon low --- again... I'm confused, no leaks anywhere, oil is normal floorboard is dry. No idea where its going. I'd like to figure it out before the Tampa trip or I may have to do the full-size mod 2 months earlier than planned.

 

Finally got this thing installed.

 

You're not the only one, my over-flow tank just about empties after 1 month of filling it.

 

well i went to the smog shop today and my truck failed due to : EGR (Functional) and Fuel cap integrity test

 

got any friends in quincy ... if you retag your truck no biannual inspection .... but the egr and a new gas cap shouldnt be too bad

anyhow, funny to see someone from paradise on here, went to chico state and my ex girlfriend lives in magalia, i come up a couple times a year for various reasons, mostly to ride my atv and go to clamper events.

 

yes i have friends in portola .. and quincy.... small world !! i work in chico daily just moved from there last year up to here ... my boys like it better up here

 

yea like im sayin no biannuel if you change your address and put one of their addresses on it if you cant fix the egr issue .. im guessin youre an older guy havin "boys" ... im only 26 and missing chico dearly, not too much work in the area though.
