He did indeed, haha I couldnt find a maglite to fit it so I got one of those (something) Force LED lights that fits it perfect! .............

bought new lugs for the truck off ebay.

 

Put in E3 spark plugs and changed the fuel filter.

Blood transfusion and a new liver. A set of new Iridiums and replaced a broken sway bar linkage. She'd get a nice bath but it's supposed to snow like hell in a few days.

Added level 2 decals and factory foglights not visable in this pic. Fog lights definitely worth the trouble. Decals break the truck up some.Together the truck looks better and not so plain.

 

Dismounted the demountable today and fetched a load of logs from a neighbours ground. He had two small trees removed and I was left with the wood to scavenge. How cool is that, nice neighbour.

 

Got oil changed and tires rotated.

Removed rear bumper and front grill to drop of at my painter!

Got the news that I will not be trading it in for a F-150 for me as previously planned... Wife decided that I should get a new Jeep instead and she will be getting the F-150 that she wants instead of the one I want... Damn the luck..... I don't think she wanted a 4wd one ...

 

Fetched a dozen sheets plaster wall-board today, managed to unload in the nearly dry. Strapping done, timbers sprayed, ceiling goes up tomorrow. I love my work.

 

Picked it up from the shop. Does anyone know if there is a rev limiter on the 02 edges 3.0 that won't let it rev above 3k in park?

Well I can't remember what all I've done since I last posted in this so I'll just post what I've done in the past 3 days.

Took the truck to get aligned on Wednesday but they couldn't do it because the drivers side inner tie rod had a 1/2 inch play in it. So I got that replaced Wednesday night and took it back Thursday and got it aligned. Now my truck won't eat through my tires. When I went to pick my truck up the tech who did the alignment said my truck is one of the cleanest, well maintained trucks with 205k miles on it that he's seen. Said he couldn't find anything wrong with it other then it needing a brake fluid flush and I already knew about that. Funny thing is just about everything on the truck is still original besides what I've replaced which really isn't much.

On a side note I finally found while changing the inner tie rod where my coolant has been going that I've been trying to find for over a year now. Turns out my drivers side head gasket is leaking on the bottom middle. It isn't leaking much just enough to almost drain the reservoir once a month. But now I think it's leaking more as of yesterday there was a very small puddle sitting under the truck which is how I found the leak. So looks like I'll be doing head gaskets this month.

Also while I'm here, I'm thinking about bed lining my rockers and bumpers next week and just want to get some opinions on if you guys would think it would look good or not. No pics as I don't have much time to do some photo-shopping.

 

Towed something for the first time ever today

 

Removed the Dirt Road Scholar decal and got new tint, 7% on the read 17% on the front doors and 7% upper and lower on the front window

 

Well, got new rear tires and an inspection done a few weeks ago (I know... shut up...)

Then today I installed a new passenger side ball joint (Moog) and changed the oil.

Then I went to a car wash and Wow I almost forgot what color my truck is!

 

was supposed to be a rainy day but ended up being sunny and 52 out, got oil changed in both the blazer and ranger, ranger got new front brake pads, front end greased and winter wheels off, summer wheels on. would have like to have gotton new calipers, rotors and front brake pads on the blazer too, but the wife needed to go somewhere and all i could get done for it was a oil change, sure theres still daylight, but im feeling kinda tired now that ive sit still for a bit.

 

Resealed the rear window, and washed truck off. Window seems to be good to go now:)

 

filled up got 18 mpg city with a wheelin adventure. gas went down like 5c to ....knock on wood

 

Installed an SUVlights headlight relay harness.
