What do I need to lower my truck
 

Hi I want to lower my 99 4cyl ranger but I dont know what I need to buy, I heard of buying springs but I wanna be sure that tha is what I need. Can anyone help me, thanks!

Depends how low you want to go. Coils can get you 2", or DJM makes a 4/5 kit and a 2/3 kit.

And I'm not really sure what you mean by how a coil works. Google that too.
