Water in fog light!!!
#1
Hey guys!!! ok here's the deal, I hope I posted this in the right place! yeasterday it rain and rained hard all day long!! Also I was driving my truck most of the day also to the night as well. My fog light worked fine last night. This morning I notice on the driver's side fog light there's a 1/4 inches of water sitting in the lens but both the fog lights still works! So I undo it and the water came out! So I found the problem, The lens gasket was twisted and that cause the water entering the driver's side len! I did remove it before few months ago when I did the swoop1156's mods. I straighten the gasket and cleaned it and dried it also then re assemble it and everything seems to be ok! Also i apply the silicone spray on the gasket so it slide in without twisting!! The passenger side fog light is no problem and dry as bone!!
Does any one had this problem before? Should I worry next time when it rains hard? Thanks in advance!
