Im still new to the site and was wondering what is meant by lvl 1 and lvl 2 rangers as well as extcap vs. 4dr? these kinda questions.
What I know about my ranger is,
2002 Ranger Edge Yellow vs
4 doors
jump seats
jack is in the middle on the back wall
dang 60/40 split seats
and the rubber instead of carpets

please help, and if theres any other tech info i should put on here or you guys can tell me would be appreciated!

 

extcab is going to be the lardger cab that does not have the doors in the back and the 4dr is going to have the doors in the back.

 

when someone says lvl II, they are talking about the Fx4 package that had a optional 2 tone paint. 8.8 rear with 4.10 torsen limited slip diff. black interior w/ silver accents, bucket seats and center console.

 

Sounds like you have an EDGE. Post up some pictures and I could tell you for sure.

i know but he's saying the extended cabs without doors are larger than the ones with doors. Never heard of this before

 

I think he meant extcab is the larger cab without back doors and the 4 door is the larger cab with back doors. I have a 4door

 

there are two supercabs(ford speak for extended cab) available, a 2dr and a 4dr
lv1 and lv2 refer to the FX4 package

 

Only thing your truck relates to an Fx4 is the fact it's a Ford Ranger with the same cab configuration. You've got an Edge. Not an Fx4OR or a Fx4LII.


Do you really want me to go hardcore on the LII and LI differences? I hate doing this when I've done it soooo many times here before. lol.
