how to keep a cat off my truck????

Other than a shotgun , how's the best way to keep a cat off of a vehicle? There's a cat that likes to get on my truck every so often. I've tryed everything from "cat repellent" to setting off my alarm , but it still gets up on it . I try to run out at it and scare it off when ever i see it on my truck. But I know it is on there more than i see it. This morning i found a few paw prints on the hood. My parents don't care if it gets on their car(which now has a few claw/scratch marks on it). I dont want my truck to end up like that, so i've got to do something. It's my little bro's cat so i can't do anything too drastic. Do any of you guys have this problem?

Thanks,
CAW

Park the truck on the cat. Say it was an accident and get your lil a rabbit or something that will stay off the car. Or adopt a dog.

I think it's kinda funny sometimes...I have cat/raccoon/possum pawprints on my truck. It's kinda cute, but then again, they don't scratch or harm anything as of yet...

paintball. Then you'll know which cat it is and you can kill it later.
