i need some skids for the bottom of my truck...

because with some of the wheeling im doing, im really worried, about my gas tank mostly.

are the factory skids my only choice? and where can i get them.

With a body lift I dont like how the gas tank is out. This or you could make one.

Put your gas tank in your bed.

Pick a factory skid up from a junk yard. They will atleast protect the tank from punctures, but I wouldn't want a ton of weight sitting on it.

agree im scarred im guna destroy my skid with a log or something

anything is better then potentially cracking that cheap plastic pos

All depends on how good your fab skills are. You can pretty much build anything man.

my fab skills are lousy lol

although, as soon as i move back to vegas and have a garage to work in, i plan on investing in a welder and some other tools to use with metal and kind of learning along the way.
