Icon9 Strange Engine Behavior...

Ok so...
When I either accelerate or decelerate (by using brakes or just letting off the gas) my truck is kind off.. "jumpy." It sort of lurches forward and then slows down, then lurches and slows, then lurches and slows, very quickly over and over and over. It's not horribly noticeable but of course I can feel it no matter what.

Any ideas on what this may be? I don't know how to tell if it's related to my engine or my transmission or my brakes or what. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Marshall

How will u joints make the truck lurch? Sounds like the throttle body may need to be cleaned. Could be sticking open causing the truckto want to accelerate while trying to stop at the same time. Or the idle control is screwing up

Just thought that maybe there was play in the driveshaft, something easy to check.

Lol yeah.. what??
Anyways, is it easy to clean the throttle body? Or could it have anything to do with the clutch? What are possible symptoms of a clutch going bad?

Thanks!

Marsh its not your clutch.

Get with Ory and he can get you hooked up some some products to clean your throttle body and MAF.
