Icon8 A stupid move? or recklessness? or what? (carnage)

So, yesterday, my buddy came over, the one I have known for 15 yrs with his gf. I was in the middle of getting my new computer set up. (i sold the old parts and bought new parts) Anyways, he was drinking, again (he drinks atleast 10beers a ight, every night) So we were gonna go out, and snoke a cigarette, and on my back porch, he had set up a 24oz mug full of ice, at the top of the steps... and when he walked out the door, he kicked it (intentionally) mind you, the porch is about 4ft high, and next to it, infront of the steps is my truck.... so this mug flies over my bed, ice cubes, bounce of the side, and hes rolling on the floor laffing, and im like dude, wtf man!?!?! what if that hit the side of my truck?! he just laffed.... really pissed me off..

Now from his point of view i can sort of see jealousy there, cause hes got a pos f150 compared to my practically new ranger. but then, after thinking about it.. I got what? $10,000 invested in my ranger? and hes got, about $10,000 invested in snap off tools.. So we are about even, the difference is i put my money into a vehical and he put his into tools.. I dunno. it just struck me way off base here... his gf blew up at him, cause its like wtf. i didnt do nothing to him, so why try to damage my stuff? what you think?

Thats bullsh*t. I understand people get rowdy and stupid when they drink but it sounds like ur friend had something to prove. I hope you told him youd kick the sh*t out of him if he ever tried that again, drunk or not. Cant let people do that just because you don't wanna feel like the jerk by bringin it up. Just aint right. Sorry for the long post but I've been through this a couple times and I kinda had to vent myself.

I have a buddy that drinks like that, I mean I drink everyday, but some days its just one. He drinks as you said, maybe a 12 pack a day no lie, and thats everyday. I would be pissed but personally if he was your friend for 15 years, maybe it was just a stupid drunken thing. After all, after 15 years, you should know him pretty well. Do you think it was intentional?

^^^ I would agree with that most of the time, but after being friends for 15 years, I would think that it is at least worth trying to figure out....

I agree, but thats why I asked him (I know he isn't on now tho) does he think it was intentional to try and hit his truck, or was he just being a drunk A$$? I know allot of us have probably done something stupid while drinking before. I know I have...lol.

I would have taken a tire-iron to his bedside, and told him not to come back.

If he's never done anything like this before I'd chalk it up to just a stupid, drunken stunt. However, if he's been drinking like this for as long as you say, he's got more going on than that. He needs help. Once alcohol strarts to affect the people around you, there's a real problem. Might want to talk to him about that...when he's sober.

Well if you really wanna teach him a Lesson, get a bucket of horse or cow wee and fill a couple of beer bottles with it and chill em down. Next time he comes over offer him a 4-5 real beers then pull the switch. We did this to a real A-Hole when I was in the Army....He didn't notice the difference until about the third bottle of wee.

Oooh I just thought of something dude.

Pleeeeease! Quantify how you have 10K invested in your ranger. Oh, and tires do not count, unless they are either performance or oversized tires(32s+ or Pirellis)
