I'm looking to convert to the 1995 Aerostar rear drums for my 2004 Ranger due to the cooling fins. Should I get every single piece of the rear brakes , down to the wheel cylinders, shoes, parking shoes, and hardware kit for an Aerostar, or do all/any of the Ranger rear brake parts interchange with the Aerostar brake parts? One problem I'm having is parking shoes for the Aerostar aren't available on rockauto.

 

What are parking shoes on drum brakes ?

Do you mean brake shoes ? Rock auto lists those.
