What shocks/ coils?
 

So I am going to be doing front coils, and all 4 shocks on my 1997 ranger 2WD 2.3. What shocks do yall suggest? I think I already have the coils picked out, but man there's a lot of options for shocks. lol. Not looking to break the bank but I also plan on having the truck for awhile so I don't mind spending a little if necessary to get the best ride and handling. Thanks!

I'm having a hard time finding Bilstein's for stock ride height and my year. All the ones I'm finding are for 98-11 and mine is a 97

Anyone have any experience with the skyjacker shocks? From the reviews I've seen they look like they'd be pretty good and not too expensive.

Thanks for this! I was able to find the ones I needed, and they are actually available via prime on Amazon! Are the bilsteins really worth all the extra money? KYB's are less than half the price and people seem to like them? Again I am willing to spend the money if they are really that much better, just curious.

Yes the Bilsteins are really worth the money, I just finally installed the front ones on and the truck's ride is so much better than before. It's a more controlled ride not a harsh ride. At one time I had installed KYBs on a car and they made the ride worse as they got older within a year or so and I went with the Bills, of course that means I spend more money than if i had just purchased the Bils in the first place.
