Hey all most of you have probably figured out I don't keep trucks for long. I usually buy a truck and drive it for a bit, fixing it up as I go, then sell it. Make a few bucks and move on. Well since I like my 99 (body swap)so much its going to skip the selling part for a while. Anyway I picked up this 98 with a bad trans cheap. I installed a trans and now have it running. Runs ok but its just a 2.5 2wd reg cab truck. It is beat up. There are dings all around this truck. Is it worth fixing it up into a nice truck or should I just sell it as a beat up work truck. It was getting dark but I took a few pics.

Fix as much as you can without spending much money on it then sell it. Or blow it up

Yeah I don't think I want to put much money into it. Thing is it probably wouldn't sell for that much fixed up. The Edge is in line but I need to deal with this truck and I just listed the Dakota on ebay. I don't have much room and I am going to look at a 99 next week thats wrecked, another project but its 4wd.

id sell it and fix the bumper on the edge..

 

Evan-I already have a bumper for the edge I just haven't got started on it yet..have to deal with the other 2 trucks first and make some room.

Does it have a/c? if it does I need the hose that runs from the compressor to the condensor. I need the antenna and a price for the rear bumper, and possibly the passenger side fender.

 

I have a spare a/c hose from a 3.0. I have a good antenna mast but the base was no good(bad reception), my spare bumper is going on the edge and you wouldn't want the fender its dented up.

What is wrong with the Edge bumper? How much do you want for the A/C hose? Can you get a pic of it so I can make sure it is what I need. If the Edge bumper is in decent shape meaning no dents how much would you want for it. And how much for the antenna and base? I don't care if it gets bad reception. Mine is bent from a tree during Katrina.

 

The edge bumper is bent down, its beyond repair. You can see it in this picture
