Getting New Wheels and Tires

Hello all,
I'm getting new tires and wheels for my 03 Edge. I recently did my front end, and my parts were so worn down that I had some pretty bad camber issues. Due to that, the inner edges of my two front tires are worn to the point that my lower ball joints are being pulled from their home in the lower control arm. So, I need new tires. I've been looking at General Grabber AT2s and Cooper Discoverer AT3s. I currently have 265/60R18 HD Series wheels, which have a positive offset. I also have 1.5"-2"(can't remember) spacers. I'm looking to ditch the 18s and spacers and get new wheels as well, possibly go down to 16". I've heard that American Racing makes good rims, I'm looking for something that doesn't break the bank and preferably does not involve chrome, as my current ones are peeling. I know little to nothing about wheels/tires, but I'm learning a lot about them. I'm looking for more advice/knowledge from you guys on the subject. What sizes should I look out for? What should I avoid? Any specific tire types to move towards? Anything will help. Let me know if you have any questions. Please and thank you!

Check the sticky chart on Wheel and Tire section if you still haven't, should be helpful on what you need to fit the16's perfectly.
