I can not figure this out for the life of me

how do you get the cig lighter and aux power source out of the beezel that goes around the radio, i am hoping to paint it today but if i cant get them out then it will have to wait until tommrow

once you take your beezel out, disconect the wires from the back. Then just twist the metal part in the back and it will twist out.

on my last ranger... it just fell out. then i realized it was broken ... be careful. those things are a b**** to put back in.

well hopefully they go in easy for me, after i got the color on it started to wrinkle on the left and right side where the radio goes so tommrow i gotta sand it back down and primer and paint all over

I got both of mine out fairly easy with a flat screwdriver to pry out the clip on each of the housing parts and just pull. The one I couldn't get out was my 4x4 **** deal.

Im pretty sure it has threads....Well i think mine does anyway, so yeah just twist it and it'll come out.

My lighter will just unthread and come off the aux power point is the same way but the plastic is like moulded over it so it won't come out. I will just have to get a bigger hammer when I go to paint it.

for the 4x4 you have to take out the two screws and and pop off the ****, as for the aux it will thread off, i had to use pliers to get mine

yup just take out the 2 screws for the button.

The reading part....(2wd 4wd hi 4wd lo) That piece doesnt come out. I just put some tape over it.

The know pops off towards you, and the other piece goes through the back.
