What trim level is this ranger?
What trim level is this ranger?
I'm having a look at this ranger tomorrow and the lady selling doesn't know anything about it. I can see it's got manual 4x4 and a stripe that looks factory on it so I've been using the internet to try and figure out what trim level it is, but there's no good resources online I can find that states the features of each trim level. Do you guys have any idea what trim level it might be?

Edit: Rear drive shaft was snapped at the yoke because they drove it in 4x4 and bound it up, so I'm not going in on it

It's probably nothing special, and it's really hard to tell unless somebody here were to own a very similar truck. Back in the 80s they were putting all kinds of decals and dealer add-on "trim levels" so it's just too hard to tell based off of the pictures alone.
All I can find for a 1984 is a partial sales brochure,
These are what I can find to help
Floor Covering / dash panel / wing windows / door panels / seat belts
Standard - Black Vinyl floor - Brushed pewter dash panel - wing windows optional - Vinyl door panels - black seat belts
XL - Color Keyed Vinyl floor - wood grain dash panel - wing windows optional - Vinyl door panels - color keyed seat belts
XLT - Full color Keyed Carpet - wood grain dash panel - Wing Windows standard - Cloth door panels with map pockets - color keyed seat belts
XLS - Full color keyed carpet plus lower back wall of cab carpet - Brushed pewter dash panel - Wing windows standard - Cloth door panels with map pockets - black seat belts
The truck you show has no wing windows and vinyl door panels that eliminates XLT and XLS.
The truck you show has a brushed pewter dash and black seat belts that eliminates XL and XLT
That leaves the truck you show as a "Standard Trim", black vinyl floor would confirm.
