Shaun he never said he couldn't work on them. He just meant it's kind of a pain. Which I totally get. Especially since a lot of the electrical BS being eliminated with early year rigs as well as the simplicity of a lot of things.

That being said, I wouldn't get rid of the ranger. I'd keep it on the side, build it, and get an early year rig to do what you want with. Keep the ranger as a reliable drive-able wheeler.

That's my .02 at least.

Exactly. I can, and do work on it no problem. Its just more complicated then it needs to be. Too much bullshit just like any newer vehicle.

Truck I want and will get You could friggin sleep in the engine bay there's so much lack of crap.

If it was paid off, I'd keep it. But no sense having it just sit there while still paying for. That's another reason I want to sell. It never gets used anymore. The odd dump run on the weekends, but barely ever.

I haven't done an oil change to it in 6 months.... I used to do one every 3-4 weeks. Just shows how little I use it now.

It's in his profile pic. Black on the dome part of it over the silver.

I agree with what many others have said.

Somewhere in the 6-7k price range.

Seriously??? That's the "custom hood"? I couldn't find a larger picture of his profile pic, and it really only did look like a powerdome with the top painted black. I was hoping there were functional hood scoops or functional ram air intakes.

lmao

Is it factory? No. Therefore its custom.

It's a ranger.... Ram air hood or hood scoops wouldn't be functional at all.

Custom doesn't apply to spray paint. Nice try kid.

And yes, anything you change that isn't stock would be custom... Learn to English.

Pretty sure paint from a gun still sprays out.

Anything you change that isn't stock is a modification. Anything you create that isn't stock is custom. Learn to English.

Regardless of what Custom means, spray painting your hood one single color is not a custom paint job. Spray the Mona Lisa on your hood and then get back to us.

That's the best you can come up with? Come back on here and talk smack when you get out of junior high. Paying a guy a couple hundred bucks to slap some paint on your hood doesn't make it "custom." People do the same thing in their driveway on Saturdays. I take it the blue rims were "custom" too?

Custom in the dictionary and custom in the aftermarket industry are two different things.

If your reasoning holds true, I could pay to have someone bash dents in my doors and call it custom because I thought it looked cool. I could also swap my hood for another powerdome I found at a JY that's a different color and call it custom.

It's a shame you're banned from FRF. Your "custom" hood and blue wheels would go great with the other "custom" mods found on that forum.

I fixed it for you. Since you're schooling everyone on their English I didn't want you to look too dumb.
