I believe all extended cabs have four doors in Canada... don't know when it started though. My dad has an 01 and it has four doors and it is pretty much the base 2wd manual edge so I assume that was not an option. I know buying mine I didn't have a choice if it was extended it had four doors. That's just Canada though.

Good luck finding a nice new (to you) truck!

your thinking of the first F-150 where 3 door before they went to 4.. my dad has one..

4 door has is plus like getting things in the back and letting people in the back BUT they suck in the sense of how much they rattle especially when offroading man do they make some odd noises

I haven't had any problems with mine rattling. Just have to slam them to get them to close good.

I slam them good and get them closed, but they still rattle. What annoys me mroe than them rattling, is when any passengers don't close them hard enough, then the door ajar tone goes off, OMG does that annoy me.

Stone, mine just need shut firmly. Nobody does that. And if that door isnt shut, the other door looks shut, then they rattle bad, and the door ajar goes off. Its always that 4th door, on the passenger's side that is hard to reach, that they don't close good enough too.

Shane... the 02 FX4's came with either the tan interior or the black interior with the funny inserts on the black seats, because keep in mind, the 02 FX4's are the equivalent of an '03+ FX4 Lvl 2.

Stone, those FX4's with tan interiors are not only in Canada....

the 2door and 4 door trucks are gnome powered

the 2door gnomes keep the back doors locked and the 4 doors keep the back doors unlocked

my gnomes keep my back doors locked at all times, they never open. stones gnomes unlock his back doors for easier access to the rear seats, but his gnomes jump around a whistle when he drives or offroads where mine stay quiet
