2.5l.......Im not complaining, it has the same get up and go of the V-8 in my last truck and gets twice as good gas mileage.

Aren't some 70% of all rangers made the 3.0L? According to Autozone's website 71% of 2002 Rangers are the 3.0L and 18% 3.0 FFV. And just 11% 4.0. In 2003, the 4.0 made up 11%, 46% 3.0 and 43% 3.0 FFV. These numbers are for the 2wd trucks so in the 4wd models ~95% were 4.0L.

I thought I was ineligable but I forgot about my Explorer it is a 4.0 OHV other thatn that I have:

500 CI Caddy
383 Dodge
350 Chev in The buick
5.4 in the Expedition
4.1 250 Inline 6 in the GMC

Next spring is all goes well I will be sporting another Level II! I pray for a good raise this year.

2.5 here cant go wrong with them. I raced a friend with the 4.0 OHV and can keep up pritty good with him till about 50. so yea GO 2.5!!!!!!!!!
