What's the chiming noise???

I sas'd my truck and took off my abs and cut my ebrake cable... Now both lights are on and it makes a chiming noise almost constantly. It's driving me crazy. I don't care about the lights. Just the sound I'm assuming it's the ebrake? I tried pulling up on it all the way while holding the release handle. It didn't work. What's the easiest way to make that chiming go away?
thanks

When I disconnected your eBrake line on the frame, I just stuck the loose end into a hole on the frame near the gas tank....same spot mine has been for the past 10 months or so. I get no noise. If I were you, I'd get that eBrake cable out of that hole and try again on lifting up on the pedal and the release lever.

If that doesn't do anything, and it shouldn't, stick it back in and determine where that noise is coming from.

open your truck manual, see if its supposed to ding when the abs light is on, or when the brake light it on.

lol... thats great!

Oh and Cory it looks like you're doing some super aggressive mods to your truck. When you decide to ditch your stock front bumper let me know. I'm looking for an 06+ front bumper. :)

Damn, unless its cracked or broken I can make it work. It would need a nice coat of DSG before I put it on my truck. :silly:
