autometer water temp on SOHC 4.0

autometer water temp on SOHC 4.0

I am wanting to install this but I wanted to see how some of you have done it. I beieve that the sender is under the throttle body/intake manifold. Is there anywhere else I can put this, those senders dont screw in. Any pics would be great.

Brent,

Bill bought the t adapter and mounted it in the lower radiator hose, i have a similar item in mine, but mine was custom made by D

i have mine on the line that goes from the t-stat to the heater core

norm temp according to it is 208ish.. i have the flow restrictor open all the time so coolant will flow through there so i get a reading..

you have to ground it aswell right? how do you guys have your grounds?

Mine is the exact one that Zach posted, i grounded mine right to the battery.

That sure simplifies things. I drilled and tapped a hole next to the two stock sensors. It's clean and tucked away but it was an all day project.
