Yeah. Ive seen them use it on trucks or maybe it was power block, idk I cant rember wich one it was its been a cupple years ago when I saw it. Just wanted to see if anybody on the fourm has used it before.

 

I'm interested in this too. I've never used it.

 

I put sea foam in the gas tank, cleaned the throttle body and put compression sealer into my truck during an oil change and i noticed a huge difference.

I'm not sure about zmax, I wouldn't use it on a truck.

 

my dad put it in his '92 f150 w/the 5.8 in it and said that he is noticing a difference in power and a slight mpg increase

 

Why wouldn't you use it on a truck??

Isn't there a class action lawsuit against Zmax for false advertising? I'm remember hearing that its just mineral oil or something dumb like that.

Dont think ill be running zmax anytime soon.

 

While it is slightly out there I used the Tough Cloth product on my weapons over seas. The principle is any main chemical are the same. It is supposed to absorb into the metal, repel mositure (not an issue in the desert), dust (which it did a pretty good job at) and friction. I was happy with it overall and never had a stoppage.

 

who buys a truck to go fast?

if you want more power, there are cheaper and more efficient ways than zmax

seafoam is better used in old engines, and in engines that have been sitting a good while

 

Im not trying to get more power. Just want the engine run better.

Like I said before I really wasent impressed witht the sea foam treatment. Maybe im doing something worng, idk.

 

I'm not a believer of "Snake Oil" additives in fuel or oil. It's all a waste of $$$ IMO. I've never gone wrong with regular oil and regular fuel. It's all mind games anyway. Most people just "think" they feel the added "performance" of these items. (ie: Fluid additives, CAI's, aftermarket coil packs, UDP's.....etc)

 

I've used it, works great.

 

What about when stuff is actually dyno proven like UDPs? I agree about all those fuel additives though.

 

Used it in my 2000 F-150 4.6 w/150,000 miles and noticed no improvement in gas mileage or how the engine performed.
