wheel switch gas mileage

if i switched from steel wheels to aluminum ones would i see a big enough difference in gas mileage to back up my choice?

it's a good idea to.....it lightens up the unsprung weight, lower rotating weight mass.....should result in a change...though.....no clue what that change might be. lotta help i was. lol.

well lets say they give you 1 mpg better then what you have now, so, it'll be an average savings of 2-4 bucks each time you fill up. Say the wheels cost 400 a set, it'll take 80-100 fill ups to pay for themselves. Depending on the miles you drive a year, and your current gas mileage, it could take a year.

I went from stock aluminums to Chrome and I lost maybe .5-1 mpg. but barely noticed it
