I am looking for black step bars for my 99 ford ranger xlt and i believe its a supercab.

i cant seem to find basic look ones, and all i can find are these on ebay.

i kind of dont like the ones im seeing on ebay. i want a flat all the way down grip, not 2 sections.

 

those look like ford factory step bars look for oem parts

 

hm....where can i find oem parts? will it fit my ranger if i took from a new model or something?

 

Like I said before, I have some just like those in the first picture. Of course, you'd have to pay for shipping or meet me halfway.

 

try searching the term "nerf bars" rather than step bars... might help...

As everyone said those are factory style bars. The top ones are 06+'s and the others are the early style bars. Just so you know the bars are different between 2 door and 4 door models. I don't know what style you need but make sure you get the right ones. There was a guy selling a set of 06+ bars off a 2 door if you need them and his price was real reasonable, I know they were under $100.

 

The bottom ones are the factory ones that I took off my 04. I still have them except they are for a reg cab. So you will also be able to get them through the dealer or oem and tell them they came on 04 XLT's.

 

craigslist its how i found my chrome set and there is always black sets on there constantly

I have a set off my 01 ext cab. Pay for shipping and there yours. They have a little rust but nothing some time and paint can't fix. I can get pix if needed.

 

Would they fit a normal can ranger?

I doubt it but I really don't know for sure.

 

IIRC, step bars, nerf bars whatever for a regular cab, ext cab, ext cab 4 dr all mount differently to the cab. eBay/craigslist will probably be your friend here.
