Where was your Ranger made?

97: Louisville
00: Twin Cities
03: Edison
I heard somewhere that the 2002 FX4 and 2003 Level II's were assembled only at Edison. Of course, LII production would have been continued at Twin Cities after Edison closed.
Since LII's only represent 3% of Ranger sales, it makes sense that Ford would choose to inventory the unique parts at only one plant. Does anyone have a VIN on a 2002 FX4 or 2003 Level II that refutes this?

This link will show all of Ford's assembly plants and what models they both currently build and those that they have built in the past.

The only plants that I can see which built the Ranger as we know it here in the USA are Edison, Twin Cities, and Louisville Truck. I do notice that they have already eliminated Edison and a few other closed plants from the list, as well as leaving out their engine assembly plants.

My 2001 was made at the Edison plant. The engine was assembled in Lima, Ohio. Oddly enough, the wheels and original radio are made in Brazil according to stampings and stickers. The springs are stamped with Mexico.
My parents' 2002 and 1986 Rangers were both built at the Twin Cities plant. According to the parts content sticker, the transmission in the 2002 truck came from France.
Ford has another Ranger plant in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I guess that is where the crew cab trucks seen in Central and South America come from.
