Has anyone ever tried white guage leds and hvac? If so can I please see some pictures. Thanks

 

Are you talking about just replacing your existing bulbs with LEDs, and keeping the green face, or changing the colors on your panels? I've used white LEDs, but in an Exploder cluster/HVAC with the blue coloring, not a green Ranger one. I think there is a pic posted in one of the cluster threads of a green one with white LEDs, though.

 

I think he is talking about doing the LED mod to both but using white LED's. I don't think I have seen it though.

 

Yea sorry that's what I meant. Put white led bulbs in the socket and get rid of the green tint. I have a green truck and tan interior and really don't want a green display but I feel like blue wouldn't go right with it.

 

I dont see why you couldnt do that. You would still need to wetsand the green color of the backside off the gauges though

 

I think it would look pretty sweet in white. A lot of newer cars have that look, and it's pretty clean looking. Personally, I'd probably try to find some red needles to put in there. If you can't find any, you can get needle paint online. Just wetsand the white off and paint the color on.
