my 2wd L/S is far better the 2wd Open, have had both and i am sticking to it...this is one of the few things no one can ague me other wise..

I drove a 2.3L 2wd for 2 years through Maine winters with some cheap all-terrains...that thing was ****in aweome in the snow, never even a scare

i bet any car without studded tires would have just as bad of a time as 2wd with L/S


ive never gone sideways so i cant talk from that stand point... but as far as traction goes it helps out a bunch... because if one wheel has traction then im set, but with open you have to hope that you have traction on that side....

Mine will probably be one of the worst setups for gas...

When it snows, Jen will have my Ranger, and I'll be driving the 1989 5.8L Bronco with 6" lift and 35" mud tires with the hubs locked incase I need 4wd. I'll also be driving it slow because it has no swaybars, so it walks all over the road, and that is going to be baaaad in snow/ice conditions.
