Edge powerdome hood on third gen

Tried searchin a bit, some say the edge powerdome hood will fit a gen III. Unless the hoods got larger, it seems like one would fit with maybe some very minor altercations. But I couldn't find any pics! Does anyone have any? thanks

I've never seen a powerdome on a 3rd Gen, it maybe able to be done if the hoods are the same size only other problem would be where it hit the grill.

Hmm sounds like maybe it's not worth it unless you do the whole front end conversion....

Well itz too bad that its so much work to make it fit your truck. Just think of it this way tho. The hood you have now is only about a third of the weight of the power dome hood. Even tho the edge hood looks awesome.

you need new fenders from a 98+, new header panel from a 01-03, the 01-03 grill/shell, head lights, turns to make it look normal

I just bought an old '96 ranger that has damage to the front of both fender, the bumper, the hood, and the header panel. I wonder if I shouldn't hit a JY and see what I can find.

With all those parts it should be bolt on right?

i take it you bought your old truck back....do a 01-03 front conversion its simple and the truck will look better, plus GOOD condition parts will be easier to find

oh well something like that is definately not fundable anytime soon, I just thought those edge hoods might be a cool alternative to your regular run of the mill cowl hood
