Same here but I'm talking about the other nitty gritty's. Just wait. You'll run into something that I'm talking about. It's just my luck that most times it happens when I need to replace/repair something and it shows a pic of a dif motor or every motor but the 4.0SOHC

The ebay cd i got was a ford cd not a copy. The 95 manual i got from fordcds.com was the same program. The info was factroy but the program is kinda crap. The mouse wheel doesn't work. Then again what do you expect when the program was made back in the early 90's.

YMMV, for what i have seen the cds by far surpass Haynes four fold.

From working on a 2003 xl, a 2003 edge and a 2005 lvl2, I've found the wiring schematics and their coloring codes are wrong. Their pin-outs are ' somewhat' correct. I had to call bob Wenzinger for my A/F meters/gauges as the book was wrong ( the whole bloody emissions wiring diagrams are off ).

Its a GOOD refrence book, but not the ' law '. I need to find a way ( like l2en ) to bribe a copy of those dvd's :)

I have stand alone cds/images for 95 96 and 99.

The 99 is the one i got off ebay with the ford logo on it. The 95 and 96 are identical software packages using the same program. The info on them is correct as far as I have needed so far.

I have no need for a dvd as of yet.

Yeah, I use Alldata.com for my Ranger too. That site is pretty decent. Usually have some decent diagrams for stuff.

I like Chilton's better than Haynes for obvious and already stated reasons. They have more details. And I've found them at O'Reilly's Auto Parts.
