i think you hit the nail on the head there.

plus there is good aftermarket support, its just not in the wide open like soem other trucks.

See I used to think there was tons of aftermarket options for the ranger, but now that I have the F150 I realize how bad the rangers really had it! I guess I felt like the older gen rangers had a bigger selection too since parts up to an 09 ranger would bolt on to my old 93

I am debating buying a s10 right now.. lol i can get a nice 02 with low millege for 1200. then 6 in superlift and 2in bl and tires.. and still have money left over from the ranger

With the amount of fully custom Rangers I've seen, it leads me to beleive there is no lack of aftermarket support for these trucks.

The only thing that keeps me away from buying an S10 is I will feel like I'm driving a Civic with a bed.

A few years ago I nearly bought an '02 Sonoma SLS Crew Cab 4x4. Kinda wish I got it, cuz that truck was so nice.

i actually looked at s10s also first, but apparently the 4cyls like to blow head gaskets and are weak as hell. The 4.3 is good though.

fully custom= nothing bolt on. especially suspension
