Need help- welding/ fabbing for rollcage in Northeast PA...
Hi, new guy here...lurked for a while.
I have a 2001 XLT Supercab 4X4, 4.0 and I want to dress her up a bit more. I would eventually like front and rear bumper guards, but can get those commercially.
What I'm having a real problem with is finding somebody who can weld or fab a simple basic roll cage inside the truck. Nothing fancy, just extra protection.
We used to have one guy locally, but he was always backed up with work and recently moved away.
I'm kinda stuck now. I really want to do this, and it would be a great addition to my long-range plans for this truck.
Anybody in Northeast Pa? Anybody even close? Anybody have any help they can pass my way?
Thanks in advance!! (And BTW, great place you guys have here!)...

Well, I can get the basic roll-bar, and the place that carries them isn't that far away. The problem is getting it in the truck, removing the seats, carpet, etc., bolting it in, and then putting the stuff back in. I don't have a garage, or anything other than some off-street parking (in a very narrow street)....
so, it's more a matter of finding a body shop that can do that, then I'll be okay.
