He means can you still pull air normally because pulling through all that tube is gonna hurt economy. Early had a bad experience with water the last time I was out with them. What was the outcome of the camera?

New one fron best buy the camera that is and no i dont have a disconect but the PVC is the same size as the tube that goes in the motor from the stock box witch i took out. the air filter is the filter you see up top.

Earl,
Do you think you should have the filter element on the outside like that? If it gets wet it's not going to flow air very well. Most snorkles have some sort of rain shield on the top, and then a filter element inside protected from the weather/water.

I knew it wasn't a concern for you but Karpe was refering to Travis truck too. Hell my plan is to have one before I go to Wharton again.

Yeah me too, i am going to see how it holds up to Earls abuse and let him make changes to his design then I am getting one made up.

Yeah and with the factory airbox out i will have a nice place for a second battery for my winch(when i get).

Ranger1 I wish I had pics!!!! You'd be all about my design. There's nothing showing on the outside of a snorkel. I also made mine upgradeable so when ten years from now she's a trail sl*t I can poke it through the fender. I've got at least two feet higher on the intake. Not bad for a weekend and $30.
