Window Tint Class
to be honest nothing, just a simple 30min video, go into the shop watch someone do it. then practice on all the diff window types till u get it figured out. techniques and tips, fixing fingers, mostly just practicing your cuts and get all the bubbles out :) wasnt a long class, its pretty simple just takes practice.
side windows are easy, its the rear that sucks as u can imagine, some shops wont carry the long 40" wide rolls so you have to learn to do seamless tinting, using 2 pieces of tint for the rear windshield and not seeing the seam when your done

I've never paid less than $170 for a tint job.
me n my buddy did mine. Well really he did it. He's been practicin for a while now. Just a few little dust bubbles and no creases and the cuts were awesome. Hes gettin really good. Always good to have friends in the right places.
It makes life a lot easier with the new computer cutting templates. The computer just cuts it to size for each window, which saves labour time and all the installer has to do is install the tint. The shop I get my tint done at uses this.
I was thinking about redoing mine and thought it might turn out better if I took the glass out and put it on. It is easy to take the glass out. I thought I would just ask you since you are taking a class.
why would you take the window out??
Sounds about right. I did the same thing on my Ranger. Check local state laws though. Here in the Province of Ontario, driver and passenger side windows can only be 35% min. I have 14% all around and never been bothered about it. Just depends on the local PD, how you drive, and where you live.
