I think the in-ch are nicer looking, just me.

Also, I think mine are AVS (not sure) but they are a little wider than std ones, if the window is open no rain will just drip in.

Picked up a set of in channels at OReily's, which surprised me because I've never seen them there before.

Any tips before I start? Does it need to be so warm out when I do it?

Yes, it needs to be above a certain temperature when you install them or the tape will give up early on you or not stick at all. You could park the truck in a heated garage overnight and keep the visors indoors too. Then install them while everythings up to room temp..

All of the ones I've installed said to do it above a certain temp.
