Windscreen washer

Hi new to the group just wondering if anyone can troubleshoot for me. I've got a 2008 wildtrak and the screen washers not working it's full but not coming through? Is it an easy fix or not?? Cheers.

I've never had this problem but I believe the windshield fluid sprayer has a pump that could be burned out. It could also be a fuse issue or a broken line. Have you noticed any fluid on the ground? If not the owners manual should tell you what fuse runs the sprayers if you don't have one you can find the info online, I'd look into those before buying a new pump. Also what is a Ranger Wildtrak? I've never heard of that model.

Wildtrak is the overseas version of our Explorer Sport Trac. Don't know what countries tho. His profile lists a city in England.
Anyway, if your Wildtrak is anything like the Explorer Sport Trac, there is a simple water pump attached to the side of the windshield washer fluid container.
Can last the life of the vehicle, or can simply stop working. Plastic case and internals so not rebuildable.
Fairly cheap, around $20 to $25 dollars here, and easy to replace.
Would check fuses first tho...not sure if fuse is under dash or under hood in the power relay box...pretty sure its in the power relay box under hood. Maybe uses a relay that is also in use with other components, so if everything else is working, and you cannot hear pump run, than pump is bad.
If you can hear pump run but no fluid, then the fluid line from container is plugged...another easy fix using new tubing or blowing out old.

I had to change my pump recently. It was fairly easy and cheap.
