The last thing you want to do is give the cops a reason to pull you over

It would stick out like a sore thumb since his truck is white. Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with having your side windows match the rest of the tint but when you really need to see clearly, you can always roll them down, not true on the windshield. It would look sweet, but it isn't safe...

i agree....it might look good but you also have to take into consideration safety. Now if it was just a show truck, trailered to a show then the "cool factor" would override safety. But tinting your front windshield on your DD is as smart as using hockey pucks as body lift blocks.

And if you don't see a biker crossing the street and hit them, then yes you are increasing the crime rate. Don't you realize that this isn't about "OMGS LAW SAYS DONT SO DONT!". It's about the fact you may injure or kill someone.

Hey, Cape Coral is like, a mile above Fort Meyers, right? Is it a different city or a big suburb?
Yeah the cape is pretty much a different city from Ft. Myers, has its own city council and whatever that makes a city a city. Yeah i agree that in the unlikely situation that i had my front ws tinted and killed someone yeah im going to be 100% responsible and they will blame it on the tint. But jesus how many pedestrians are hit every year by people that have normal windshields. Its not really about if your keeping a little sunlight out of your eyes with tint moreso than if your paying attention to the dam* road.

Don't mean to jump on in on the little disagreement you all are having but your doing it to keep the sun out of your eyes. That's what sunglasses and the visor is for or a strip across the top of the windshield.

Do what you want but I think it's a bad idea that you may regret after the first thing you hit because you couldn't see it at night.

yeah I already said I wasnt going to do it im just trying to justify to myself why it wouldnt be as bad of an idea as everybody on here thinks it is. I had 35% on the side windows of my mustang and could see fine at night I dont see the front at 40% or 45% would be that hard to see that im just gonna be hitting mailboxes and old ladies at the grocery store at night.

I have the 35% on my sides and see fine at night, I just wouldn't trust it on the windshield. Never really seen the 45% so i can't really say what it would be like. Would look sweet but the safety factor is the down side.

Haha what a dumbass. You should stop doing the "all my opponents are children" argument.

I live in Minneapolis Minnesota and my parents live in Juneau, Alaska.

Also, coincidentally, I'm 20 years old and I make more money than you do. That must suck.

I have a prescription for my tint but I only put it on the side windows, I thought about the front but its not worth the hassle and like stated above its dangerous. I couldn't imagine getting in an accident and losing because they decided to hit me up for the the front tint. I did see one guy get his done, and I swear as soon as he pulled out of the shop he was pulled over. I have gotten pulled over a few times in the past 7 years since getting the script and as soon as I show it they are fine with it.
