would a 99 explore cluster fix a 96 ranger

i need to replace my inserment cluster on my 96 ford ranger. i found a cluster from a 99 ford explore. would this fix my 96 ranger?

yes but some lights might be wrong, like the door light will be the fuel cap.
mine is anyways.
i got it from a 2001 ranger with 42k on it off ebay for $24shipped

while your at it get one with a tach.
