I think cause Q still thinks its a "hot off" design, when its not. The rotors in his video, and the ones in question are not alike. I think Q thinks they are.

its about time you joined... hehe yes yes mark was my technical advisor throughout the ordeal. (and my transportation to and from kragen, where we saw a dillhole steal a bike from within the store)

Anyone have a valid link to his video file? I might attempt to change my rotors and pads. I've done a couple cars before but it was a LONG time ago..

dam, i JUST changed my pads and rotors last week, i could have made a "how to" for you.

Its VERY easy tho.

The only hard part was releasing the pressure off the calaper (sp?) to fit the bigger pads on.

Over all it was very easy tho.

Well I tried last night and spent 1 1/2 hours just trying to get the bolts off..

Couldn't get em off!!!

which bolts are you talking about? use a breaker bar on em and theyll come right off. the caliper braket bolts have some type of super strong red/orange loctite on em, i couldnt even budge em with a regular ratchet or wrench... i had to use a breaker bar and it came off easy.

- you should be able to rent one at a local autozone or something.
