would you put these wheels on your ranger?

I know a lot of you would NOT because you might can afford a real set of wheels and tires BUT im a college student. How do you think these would look on a regular cab 2002 ranger? stupid? alright?

Stupid

01RangerEdge Jul 31, 2010 10:16 AM

Do not do this, I can't imagine your stockers are that ugly that you'd consider this an upgrade

dixie_boysles Jul 31, 2010 10:19 AM

yeah those are a majjor downgrade from stockers

KLC Jul 31, 2010 10:20 AM

I'm a college student too, after books and beer, there's not much left for nice wheels.

But be patient, you might come across some nice wheels at a great price

mmmtof Jul 31, 2010 10:49 AM

if ur looking for a set of wheels, i got a set of the 5 spokes that i need to get rid of. They just need some new paint. $100 pm if interested

RLong31 Jul 31, 2010 10:51 AM

Hell no... please don't.

thanks but the only reason i was really going to go for them is if they had some good rubbers on them.

MothMan999 Jul 31, 2010 12:43 PM

Those tires might have life on them but there not "good" by any means.

rangerboy101 Jul 31, 2010 12:53 PM

They're crappy tires but for $200 it's not bad. He could resell the wheels and make probably about $100 or so back.

mopar9012 Jul 31, 2010 12:59 PM

Well unfortunately I can't really afford the good tires. Even if I wanted to, the money isn't there

rangerboy101 Jul 31, 2010 01:02 PM

Those are the tires that Rangers come stock with. They're not the best tire but they're decent. The only thing I didn't like about them is they don't do so well in rain. Other than that they're decent.

Machine090767 Jul 31, 2010 05:25 PM

NO.

410LSD Jul 31, 2010 05:38 PM

Rims = NO

Tires = if you need them.

See if he'll sell you just the tires.

I have 30K on my stock RT/S's and they are wearing like steal. I will easily get another 10K+ miles out of them.
I don't have any rain or snow issues with them. I also take it easier in the rain and snow.

Good luck on whatever you do.

Jwad00 Jul 31, 2010 06:00 PM

Stock steelies are still WAYYYYYY better than those ugly a** things. Ick

robert99ranger Jul 31, 2010 06:04 PM

I would say no. Why not just get tires if you need them? I bought a set of almost new 31's for $200 on craigslist.

ccernst Jul 31, 2010 10:07 PM

those look a lot like what I had on my '97 Grand Prix GT
...and no...I wouildn't want them on my truck

FULLSCALE Jul 31, 2010 10:39 PM

04DSGMike Aug 1, 2010 07:36 PM

Trigger01 Aug 1, 2010 07:39 PM
