look at older honda civics. even if they have higher mileage, those things will last forever and get great gas mileage!

I've noticed those kia Rios get good mileage and you can pick one up for $4k or less with under 80k miles. There are also those little Chevy Aveos that are pretty cheap too. I don't know about high mileage reliabilty but if it's been taken care of I don't see an issue.

Good little cars...

Honda civic, accord, prelude, del sol
Nissan sentra, altima, maxima
Toyota Camry, corrolla

The altimas, and toyotas are pretty ugly, but they last...

I spend 120~200 bucks every two weeks on gas.

Its a lot worse when you throw in the boats consumption.

i must be the only one whose gas bill goes down when im at school. 2 seats=never driving anywhere plus being a mile off campus means i fill up once a month

How about a bike? You can pick up a cheap bike easily for 2 grand and depending on the engine size you can get over 50 MPG all day long. Just drive the truck when its going to rain

Foxbody . . . no joke. My 88' GT (speed density and fully loaded) was my daily from July 08' to February 09' (yes I drove it in the snow and cold). I could go to my farm and back (45 mile round trip) on 1/8 of a tank at 70-90mph, and it only cost like $50 to fill (for comparison, my 88' GMC Sierra costs about $100 to fill). You may not believe me or take me serious, but if you like Foxbodies, ask or search around, I was amazed the first time I had to gas mine up.

Escort ZX2 and Focus ZX2 (or w/e it's called), Fierro, MR2 (both handle great) are also great, fun little cars. Or a motorbike . . .
