need advice on something...

ok, heres the whole view of things. about a month ago i spent around 1700 on wheels/tires/BL. before that i had problems w/ some noises and had to spend around 600 to fix everything. the noises quit for a while then came back. come to find out a part was wore bc it was a lemon. replaced it under warrenty and everything was fine. well, after i had all the stuff put on the noises came back. had to spend a little over 400 on a axle shaft and bearing. it seems like all im doin to this truck is spending dollar after dollar to fix problems w/ it. id like to sell/trade it but i JUST spent all that money on the wheels and tires that only have like 1000 miles on them if that. plus i couldnt get my money out of them and the dealer wont add for it. theres a truck my dad is gonna look at next week when a local dealer gets it in on trade. guy was original owner. its a 2002 f150 crewcab 4x4. 5.4 liter, moon roof, bed cover, grey in color. only want like 12 or 13k. if its not what my dad wants (hes picky as all hell) id like to get it and trade the truck in. i looked on KBB.com and it booked for around 16000 based on the info i knew for sure. what would you guys suggest i do?

do you still have your stock wheels and tires? if so put them back on sell your other wheels and tires and just leave the body lift on who cares what i looks like if you are selling it. just my opinion

your wheels should have the same bolt pattern but a different backspacing than the jeep but the should fit. if you're not sure about the backspacing just pull one off your truck and throw it on his. i've had rims and tires from a jeep on my truck before so i dont see why it shouldnt work the other way around
