It's not even in the lot! Probably in the paint booth still, i drove 20 minutes for nothing. Now I have to wait till Tuesday to pick it up. Lame.

 

Well, after finally waiting almost a month I got my truck back today! It looks really good, they did an excellent job on it, paint looks spot on, everything looks so much better than be for. Grille and hood turned out awesome. Only thing I need to fix is the bumper gap but I will fix that this spring when I install my body lift. Here's some pics kinda crappy I'll get some better ones this weekend when I give it a good cleaning inside and out...

Thanks man, I don't think so the headlight setup is different on the mazda's I believe, IE I don't think it would even fit up.

Yeah I was thinking of doing that soon I wonder if it would look good with the green paint though?, oh I have a question. I popped the new hood up and the hood doesn't have a heat shield under it. Would the paint be okay? especially during the summer since it will get pretty hot under there?

yea the headlights are diff but someone else on here put a 2000 ranger front on theirs and didnt change the fenders and it looked aight other than a gap by their corner lights so i think the hoods might be the same dimensions.

 

Any pics of it? I wonder how that would look.

Yeah thanks Mike I'm 100% glad you did too I'm very happy with it. All I need to do is get the door handle fixed since it's still broke but I told them to ghetto rig one on there till the new one came in. Idiots that sent them the new one sent them the one for passenger door not the driver side, even though the collision shop specifically told them it was for the driver door. I didn't feel like waiting for the truck so I just told them to give it to me and i'll bring it back in a few days ha.

I'll get some new pics of it Saturday when I have some time to clean it up and take it to a better pic spot. I really want 06 tails and mirrors now, and of course the headlight mod

Looks really good, seems to fit nice and clean too. Ahh just got back 12:30 friend of mine fell asleep at the wheel and went acrossed the road over a snow bank and down a ditch about 20 ft with her jeep, went to go pull her out and when I got there realized it was way to far in, shes all crying and everything because her jeeps a little messed, took out a tree with it on the way down. Thing didn't suffer to much damage though... blah.... interesting night...

Well,going by the number of 06-08's we've gotten trashed on here lately, I think it would be safe to say you'll find some.

 

SICK , going to stop at the junkyard on my way home from class today. I want a set of side mirrors too, ebay has em for 84 bucks a piece, ouch.. JY I think wold sell them for cheaper. Going to get the tails first though.

 

Trust me, I live in Minnesota and swerving when a deer is about to hit you is the worst choice to make. I know it is hard when you are in the moment but thats what causes about 75% of deaths related to deer/car accidents. Anyways I am glad to hear you are ok.

Nah I didn't I had to bring 2 friends back to my town to pick up her jeep from last nights mishap and they had to go to work so I didn't have time to stop. I just called the JY and they weren't open so I will stop by tomorrow on my way home from class. I think those tails would be about 40 bucks or so? for a set?
