So I got a new exhaust put on a few days ago and it is freaking loud. SI/DO Flowmaster 40 dumped before the axle. IMO it doesn't sound "ricer" at all but a bunch of my friends were telling me that I am officially a ricer now. To them being a ricer means rims, lowered and loud exhaust.. all of which my truck falls under. I really had nothing to say back to them, I mean there isn't much else I can do to my truck. Getting a bodykit or something would only make them make fun of me more... So what category does my truck fall under?

 

ricer means wing, fart can that you can see, and slower then hell...

while your 3.0 is slower then hell lol, i wouldnt really say its a ricer...

but if you want to "derice" your truck, ill take your drop and wheels/tires for 100$

^sport minitruck is more like it.. heh.. hey i have exhaust (same setup as you btw :) ), intake, rims, lowering it pretty soon.. i do not consider my truck rice at all. It's V6 anyways, doesnt sound like a weedeater like those 4 banger ricers out there..

 

You need to explain to them what a ricer is then insult their car.

Basically like this:

"Ricer? do you see a spoiler on my truck? Do you see me trying to race sports cars at every stoplight? Does my exhaust sound like its farting? No, my truck is a lowered truck, a lot different".

Then to finish it off,

"Dude, just because your wife/girlfriend/loved one always wants rides in my "rice truck" doesnt mean you hafta be a dumbass".

If you dont want them calling you a ricer just buy some spindles, a body lift, and 35s to mount on your rimsl, then they wont call you a ricer no more.

 

well my friends said same to me after I got my exhaust....I didn't care I like my exhaust sounds like a 4.0 :), What kit did you get on your truck? I like the stance, I'm wanting to do a 2/3 drop with 18s

Agreed, That's one of the nicest looking sport Rangers I've seen. It's really clean looking. I say, not a ricer at all.

I have the same exhuast set you have flowmaster 40 dumped never get anything saaid about being a ricer, I just hate when people call my truck a lowrider, damn son it doesnt have the entire lund catalog bolted on it with 13 inch spokes with chrome fender flares... Its a damn minitruck.

I still say you go lower than the 2/2 drop though. It does look nice

 

there is a difference between "rice" and custom and your truck is a custom minitruck... which looks very nice imho
