01 Ranger Seat Plug To Explorer Seats
 
Its the Airbag plug the factory plug has a 4 wire pigtail and the passenger side has a 2 wire the explorer seats have a yellow plug with 2 wires on both sides and then the seat belt buckle on the driverseat has a 2 wire plug ...how do i integrate the explorer seats to work in the 01 ranger wiring

I had to take off the pretensioner thing on my ranger seats and put them onto my expo seats... That plug is linked to the airbag system in that when the bags go off, it engages that pretensioner holding you in your seat.. I don't like messin around with airbag stuff, so I did the swap. All you have to do is swap the receivers... From your Ranger seats to the new expo seats or whatever seats you want to run. I know my seatbelt receiver on the expo's had 2 wires and they were flat and the Rangers plugs were round.
