02 windshield washers not working
On my 02 edge, the washers have not worked since I got the truck. I finally decided to tackle it and get them to working. Well long story short I came up short handed again.
I have swapped relays around to see if it was a bad relay but everything still works, and the fuse is still good.
I put a new pump on it, 20 bucks autozone had one in stock, go figure. I also changed the multi switch out and still to no avail.
I must be missing something. The pump does not come on when I press the switch in. So I am pretty sure is electrical.
Anyone got any ideas?

Start by verifying the pump will run. Remove the windshield washer relay. With the key on and your voltmeter set to read voltage, check for 12v at terminal 5. If power is present, momentarily connect a jumper wire between terminals 5 and 3. The washer pump should run. If not, look for an open circuit between the relay socket and the washer pump.
If the above test worked and with the relay still removed and key on, switch your meter to Ohms and connect one probe to terminal 1 and the other to chassis ground. Push the washer switch, you should see 1 ohm or less.
If not, plug the relay back in and go to the multifunction switch connector C212 at the bottom of the column (leaving it connected). With the key on, momentarily insert a jumper wire between Pin 14 (Light Blue with Orange stripe wire) and Pin 13 (Gray with Red Stripe wire). The washer pump and wipers should run. If not, the problem is more than likely with the GEM or its associated wiring.
