06+ power mirror install problem. NEED HELP!!
So I bought a new pair of power side mirrors for my 2001 EDGE V6 3.0 Extended Cab. Modified them to fit, left the wiring from the old mirrors on the old mirrors and figured I would come back and splice the wires later. (Ran out of time).
Few days later I tackled the wiring and got the passenger side mirror to work perfect. After moving on to the driver side mirror, I spliced the wires to test the mirror, (leaving the wires exposed with the help of my brother) and I shorted the wires, leaving me with both mirrors not working.
Not sure if I blew a fuse, or if I need to get the whole wiring replaced and fixed, which in that case, Id rather just leave them to be manual mirrors. Need some answers/suggestions/opinions.
Thanks for reading!

It could be a shorted/burnt out motor, I know the motors in the mirrors are not as HD as you might think.
Check out this How-To, you maybe able to test your mirrors and see if they still work. It makes a new circuit and tells you the wiring process.
I haven't done the power mirrors yet, way to much to do here in SoCal, but will be using this How-To: https://www.ranger-forums.com/interi...-parts-118206/
